loopchoose script description:

Publisher review:
loopchoose - A looped version of nchoosek Nchoosek can generate all combinations of a set of numbers. But sometimes that set can grow too large to store on your computer. For example, nchoosek(1:20,10) will require 14780480 bytes to store. I've seen requests before for a looped version, that can generate each member of the set of all combinations in turn. LOOPCHOOSE does exactly that. If you wish to generate subsets of 32 elements, taken 16 at a time, loopchoose is the only solution.subhandle = loopchoose(4,2); % initialization callp = nchoosek(4,2);combos = zeros(p,2);for i = 1:nchoosek(4,2)combos(i,:) = subhandle(); % subsequent callsendcomboscombos =1 21 31 42 32 43 4Note: unless you need to generate large combination sets and can use them in a loop, I'd suggest you just stick with nchoosek. The additional overhead involved with loopchoose was roughly 75% additional time required. An advantage only appears when memory is an issue. Requirements: ยท MATLAB Release: R14SP1
